Fitbit premium and google one

I have a Google One account.  I understand that Fitbit premium comes with that.  My free 6 months of fitbit premium is coming to an end later this month and I cannot find a way to link the two google entities even though they are both using my gmail account as the account name.

I have cancelled my fitbit premium subscription so that I don't get charged.  Do I just wait until the premium ends and then ta da Google/Fitbit will find the Google One account and all will be well?

Thanks

expand the 'What is Google One?' bullet and you'll see "In some locations, certain Google One subscriptions include a Fitbit Premium subscription."

You can also find the information by Googling "Google One" "Fitbit Premium" and getting these results:

Each article above mentions that it is currently limited to the UK.

From the articles I've read, right now that's only applying to those users in the UK. Google has been silent on the many requests of if it will be available for other countries.

Hi there.
Thanks very much for the response. It is slightly bizarre that the wee
fact you just provided isn't googleable anywhere.

...But how do you transfer your Fitbit data into your Google One account? I thought that was the OP's question, and it's one I can't seem to get an answer to either. I would like to cancel my Fitbit premium and just use the free account that now comes with my Google One subs - but it's not at all clear whether this will erase my existing Fitbit data. Can anyone advise?

I confirmed my Google One account via here:

The link shows both Fitbit and Google One accounts, you just select which one you want the Fitbit alined to 🙂
