Guided Program not logging workouts.

Hi, I've been having an issue with my current guided program.

I have FitBit Premium and started the program Push Up Prep through the FitBit app. I open the fitbit app to get my workout, but when I've finished it (through FitBit Coach), it does not count it towards the Guided Program. It displays 0/3 even though I selected the workout from the guided list and launched it.

I've tried re-doing the workout, and nothing changes.

I have an Inspire HR, and I only use the fitbit app to then launch the workout in FitBit coach.

I've seen posts like this dating back at least a year, and it seems like nothing has been resolved.

Hi there, I started a "push up prep" workout on the Coach but my Fitbit App still says "0/3 workouts for the week" so has not pulled in the workout from FitBit Coach.

I have tried disconnecting the Coach app and reconnecting, but it still does not show in the FitBit app.

@SilviaFitbit i am new user of a new Versa 2. Same problem here. I came here to look for a resolution, and am dismayed to see this is a problem unresolved for nearly a year. What is the ETA on resolving?

I am having this problem for a couple of days now and have tried to uninstall/reinstall both apps.

Did you start a workout sessions on your Fitbit device also? If the device doesn’t record an actual work out session, either by manual start or auto record, it won’t be logged. Default for auto record is min 15 minutes duration.

This is still a problem and is not fixed. I still cannot log. Fact it hasn’t been syncing in the last two weeks.   there is another thread that shows this hasn’t been resolved yet.

I have unlinked re-linked deleted added reset etc fitbit apps.  I made  sure  all the updates were completed (mine didn’t need any updating )and still the syncing is not working

Hello@sylviafitbit,

while I appreciate that guided session have days chosen and it is recommended that workouts are done in those days, it seems the design and technology should also recognize them on off days... life does not always go according to plan.

While I enjoy the guided sessions, I find navigation in the Beginning Running program very confusing...... forcing certain days... if you select a M-W-F schedule, you can’t choose to run (as part of the program) on a Saturday or Sunday... it does not seem to track the runs in a timely manner... and is confusing when it does track it.... lots of promise in the programs, but still not quite there. Thank you

Hi everyone!

This has been solved for me on Saturday.

Suddenly, after finishing my workout, the application decided to store the session as usual and it also took into account the missing sessions from the time it was not working properly.

Still, the sessions weren't sent to Fitbit, but that's not a big issue for me. What's important is that now the sessions are calibrated on my actual workout frequency, whereas I noticed they were shorter while the app was skipping to record the sessions.

Cheers

Hi Mirko91,

The only thing I did, now that you make me think about it, was complaining in the feedback of my previous workout.

Until I didn't finish the next one nothing happened though.

Edit: After rebooting phone AND fitbit and then syncing several more times, ten minutes later it did allow me to turn the tile.  Fitbit is SO slow at syncing. Ugh!

Don't know what the fix was supposed to be but I have one last tile to turn, 7.7 miles, and have more than enough do so, but all it does is wiggle so your fix didn't work.  AND there is no answere here in your message!

The problem is not fixed for me…in fact, it started around the time of this fix!  The last few weeks, at least 3 weeks, my Fitbit has consistently not logged Running Program completions from Fitbit coach that on completed on Thursdays.  Sometimes, it wouldn’t log another day as well, so I’d end up having to repeat the week.  This past week it caused it to start me all the way back over so today (still Thursday Hawaii time) is my last day of the week.  I have previously completed the program, so it has saved “previous feedback” for off days in Fitbit.  Fitbit coach always has a record of me completing that day’s workout.  Some weeks, I run every day so it was surprising to notice when my days weren’t counted.  I use the program as more of a reminder and a benchmark than anything. This week, the previous days counted in Fitbit, so it’s going to let me move on to week two even though Thursday will not count.

Hello.

I am doing the beginner running program and completing the workouts on the workout days. I have a Versa 2. This issue is very frustrating.

Thanks… I actually completed the Fitbit program… but found it frustrating.
I am now using the couch to 5K program…well written, focused and flexible…I
am enjoying my Fitbit premium membership, but think the running programs
need some work.
