How do I link subscription to existing Fitbit account?

I already have a Fitbit account that I've been using for 4 years that I sign into using my personal Google account. I recently bought a new Fitbit tracker but bought it and the free trial to Fitbit Premium using my work computer that is linked to my work Google account rather than my personal one. Now to set up my Premium subscription the emailed instructions from the Google Store say I need to use my work email address, not my personal email address. I want to set up the new tracker and Premium membership using my personal email so that I can retain the data from the past 4 years. How can I do that?  I also don't see how to change the email address on my Fitbit personal info page (https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile) if I even wanted to change that to my work email. And the instructions to "link your Fitbit account in the Fitbit app account settings" is totally unhelpful. There is no "link" option in the Fitbit app account settings. Help!

Welcome to the forums, @niquey67.

Thanks for sharing this information with us, as well as taking the time to try some steps prior to posting. Before anything else, could you confirm if you've migrated your account to Google? I'm asking this as after doing the migration process, it's not possible to change the email address linked to your Fitbit account.

Assuming that's your case, what I'd suggest is setting up your Fitbit device to your original account so you can sync your stats and track your progress over the years. In regards to your subscription, because it's linked to an account and not a device, you'll need to use your work email address to access Premium features. For instructions on how to remove and set up a device, I'd recommend this help article.

Thank you for your reply. I did migrate my account to Google. It's too bad I can't use one email for all Fitbit related things. But I think I will continue to use my personal email for the new tracker.
