Recently Google has acquired fitbit and since then, they have confirmed that all the challenges and adventures will go away after March 27, 2023. Since this is my main reason for getting fitbit premium, I feel I should be refunded the difference. Is there a chance users will be refunded for the premium?

However, it's highly unlikely they will refund you for the unused portion. I believe it is their policy not to issue refunds, but you are welcome to try.
