How to Log Guided Programs

For context, I have a Fitbit Versa 3 and I’ve started Fitbit premium and started the beginning runners program today. I was listening to the instructions and started the treadmill exercise on my watch. When I finished the program it asked if I wanted to log the workout, I clicked yes.

 

The issue is, I now have two workouts logged at the same time. One labeled “FitStar Personal Trainer” and one labeled “Treadmill” they overlap with one minutes difference and while the heart rate variability and steps counted is about the same, the Treadmill workout logged about 300 more calories burned than the workout labeled FitStar.

 

I’m wondering what the proper protocol is for logging guided workouts and why is there such a difference between the auto-generated log and the treadmill log that I initiated?
