I have had a premium Fitbit account for many years. I have used an email that my business gave me because I did not have any other email address at the time. When I try to migrate to my personal google account that I set up a few years ago I get an error about being a work or school account. My Gmail is a personal account and the original account that I use is not a corporate manages or paid for account it just is my work email that I use for both work and personal items. Why can I not migrate my current account (had for over 8 years) to google? Why is Fitbit treating my personal Fitbit account as a work account just because the email address is not yahoo? How do I migrate without loosing the years of data and personal analytics. If I change the current account email to a generic yahoo email can I then transfer it to my google account?

@SBThomas2010 I'm not an expert on Google Account types. Based on what I read, an account that is created by a company has an Administrator. This seems to make it a Workspace account. Changing the email account to a generic sounds like the right idea. There are a few recent posts where users say they aren't getting the confirmation email. But I wish you luck.
