I recently purchased a Fitbit Charge 6. As part of the setup I had to convert my Fitbit account to a Google account. That went fine but now email from Fitbit, such as my weekly email, is going to my Google account email instead of the email that I had set up before (Google is not my primary email). I contacted support and they mentioned that the email had to go to the Google account email. That is incorrect, every Google account has a contact email where email should be sent and it does not need to match the account email. Google's own description of the contact email is "The address where you get information about most of the Google products you use with this account." Fitbit should follow Google's intent here and send email to the account's contact email and not just the email the account is registered under.
