Premium Wellness Report

Dear Fitbit Community,

In our continued goal to bring you the best possible experiences, we're making some adjustments to Fitbit Premium. Starting today the Wellness Report feature will no longer be available via the web. You still have access to all the health data previously displayed in the Wellness Report within the Fitbit app.

If you have any questions or require assistance, please visit our support page at support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp.

Thank you for understanding.

Hello Zahria,
I'm not falling for this again. FitBit (Google?) dropped the Wellness
Report about a year or two ago and later resurrected it from the dead -
probably because of negative feedback. Recently, one of their
spokespersons said they were "improving services" by discontinuing it. Now
you tell me it's buried under a feature I don't use. Nope. As The Who
would say, I Won't Be Fooled Again.

Thank goodness we were able to find it. But something is telling me they forgot the link was there and now they probably going to remove it. At least for the time being i was able to get my last 30 day report. Hopefully the link is still there in July.

I'm just sharing the info. The credit should go to User Prismatic0

Yes Zahria, quite right - huge thanks to Prismatic0. I was probably so pleased to get the report, my brain frizzled haha. FYI, in contrast to other messages on here, my report shows the last 12 months (rather than 1 month) & there is no date range choice. I'm happy with that, and also happy that this report is evidence that some meds I was on July-March negatively affected my heart rate. It's one thing telling your GP, it's quite another to back it up with the report.

The Wellness Report is dead. Confirmed this morning by Fitbit help.

"I appreciate those details. I've checked with the team and confirmed that as of the most recent Fitbit app update, the Wellness Report has indeed been retired and will no longer be available in the Fitbit app or website. However, the data displayed in the Wellness Report is still accessible via the Fitbit app, and you can navigate the tiles pertaining to the specific data to be able to view it on your end.

While I get that this isn't the resolution you're looking for, your feedback will help us continue improving our products and services. Thanks for bringing this to our attention."

Google has abused Fitbit to death. What a joke. The sad thing is, Google doesn't care. It never has and it never will. It's time to move on everyone. Vote with your dollars and stop giving them your money. They don't deserve it.

It seems Fitbit does not care to live up to it's commitment.

I will be cancelling my premium subscription and explore ways to get a refund from the time they dropped wellness report.

There is ample proof that I am not the only who have kept the subscription going due to the value of the Wellness report.

Very very very disappointed for the removal of the ONLY thing that was worth to pay the Premium.
Seems a trend to hire the dumbest people to take commercial decision.
Guess you are not interested anymore in my money.

As of today the access to the wellness report generation from the glucose is disappeared, at least on my app, guess they were just updating it.
It has no more sens to pay 80$ year for the premium, too bad.

However there are alternatives.

Personally I'm will try to work with this guy, it has a nice base app that can access fitbit data.
https://fitbit-report.arpan.app/
It can be little bit cumbersome to obtain the access token if you are not familiar with REST an Oath2 and using tools like curl.
BUT is feasible, the instructions are clear enough and you can have some report for free.

I will also try to explore commercial solutions, like this one :
https://www.fitnesssyncer.com/
For 40$ year if it can interface with the fitbit data, well great !

The point is that is important to look around, alternatives exists.
I strongly  suggest to download all your fitbit data locally, just to have a backup.
I suspect that will arrive the day google will decide to abandon us, surely they demonstrate to be unreliable.

Can confirm that it's also gone from my FitBit app under the glucose section. @Fitbit seems to take not want us to have this. I've already cancelled my subscription (renews in Dec) but this just adds to the fact that I no longer find value in the Premium membership.

bought pixel watch 3 xl a little over 2 months ago, still in the trial period. Fitbit is a bad app, the premium includes absolutely useless functions (the only useful one is AI recommendations with running, and the rest are either not needed or do not work at all, like for example the section with recipes). absolutely 100%, if nothing changes by autumn, I will not sign up for this pointless subscription.

That is really bad ... you mean we can't generate reports any more ... you seem to be offering less and less Grrr

Best Answer

I’m on an iPhone & in Australia, but can’t find the wellness report anywhere on the app & can only download the myriad of excel files from google.  Agree Premium just isn’t worth it anymore!!

Best Answer

This is nonsense. The ability to generate custom wellness reports was one of the few genuinely useful features of Premium, particularly important for sharing with physicians or trainers. Please bring it back! I will likely not renew my premium subscription unless this is fixed. Viewing within the app is fine day to day, but important to be able to share better information than the last emailed monthly report (which by the way, still includes a link to the web dashboard that no longer works).

I still wonder WHY this feature was removed.
Please, don't tell us "In our continued goal to bring you the best possible experiences", when REMOVING useful features.
As many pointed out, what you removed was the ONLY useful feature that justify to pay for premium.
So at least if your goal is to eliminate the premium, SAY SO please.
Stop with the marketing BS, the only reason to pay a Premium WAS the feature you removed.
I already removed the Premium, so it will not be renewed UNLESS you reinstate the feature to generate a report.
Thanks

I an extremely disappointed that you removed the Wellness report and a few other items. The Wellness Report is one of the most important features that I paid for.

I hope you are going to bring it back very soon. I have seen many other people who use it on a regular basis as I did. You do not have anything like it left on your application.

Please let me know what your intentions are so that I can decide what I am going to do next.

The Wellness Report is no longer available in the FitBit app. FitBit has been silent on this thread. So I'm curious what you plan to do since many of us in here are going to cancel (or have already) cancelled our Premium membership. We no longer see any value in paying extra when you've pulled out a big chunk of what we deem as having value. Any new updates you'd like to share with us since this last post you made over 2 months ago?

The Arpan app does work.  Just ran it for a few different timeframes.

I still have the Wellness report available in Glucose, ran it, received a notification in a few minutes, downloaded the PDF, it covered a full year.

So basically, you need to run a 3rd party app that connects with FitBit? I'm sure that many of us in the FitBit community aren't going to want to give our data to yet another company. We are asking for us to get access to a tool that we all paid the Premium Membership for to get it. I have absolutely no desire to install yet another app to share all my health data with.
