At the bottom of the fitbit app are 2 choices that annoy me. Premium and discover have zero use for me and being where they are will only make me dislike them even more. On several occasions an ad will fly up over my app with a try premium for 7 day free. Being pushy doesn't help sell stuff I don't want.

Are you aware of what is in the Discover page? Without that, you would not be able to add or remove any tiles on your Today screen, even if they get accidentally deleted. That applies to all users, not just Premium.

Discover is how you arrange you tiles? I have arranged the tiles and did not use discover. The Premium throws up an ad that has to be closed twice in the last week. I admit that's not terrible but does annoy me.
Discover still has no use to me. You may like it but I don't. Been with fitbit since their start up and they are getting worse not better.

@JohnnyRow I'm not sure if you are using an iphone or android, but your statement doesn't appear to be true at least for the iphone.
I've included some screenshots from the iphone app. **Please note i don't have a premium subscription**
@Janice399 you can still edit the today screen without using the discover option.
@JohnnyRow what you want to do is open up your fitbit app. In the upper right you want to tap "edit". The second picture i attached shows the screen that comes up after selecting edit. Here you can see that it's possible to make changes to the today without accessing the discover option. Hope this helps!
Now the bigger thing is that i have an iphone and we are unsure if this is the expected behavior on an android device. So does that mean that eventually this will change in an iphone app update?

If you re-read what I said was for adding or removing tiles, not editing such as moving tiles around. Perhaps you can remove them, but not add them back. Try removing the hourly steps tile, for instance, (or heart rate or sleep) and then let me know how you add it back without going to 'Discover'.

I'm using a Samsung android phone. If I can edit the bottom of the app where it says
Discover Today Community Premium
I would remove Discover and Premium. They are not useful to me. Plus the ads the throw up on the screen to try Premium free for 7 days. This doesn't happen on your iPhone?

@JohnnyRow This is horrible! why would it say manage today items when you can't actually manage today items? Why does fitbit treat manage activity items different then today items? I can remove steps and it stays but if i remove heart rate i have to go into discover! why?
@Janice399 THe ios app functions the same way as the android! I get the popups you mentioned and i also have the discover and premium options.
I agree the pop ups have to stop, discover and premium need to be removed, They offer no added benefit to the app and take away from the whole experience.

There are a lot of devices competing for a place on arms and many cost less then fitbit. Who is going to win will depends a lot on the best app. Discover and Premium wouldn't bother me if they were in Settings. They have only annoyance value on the bottom of Today.
