Time asleep score

Hello. I am a bit confused by the calculation of time asleep score. From my calculations it seems that 50 out of 50 is for 9 hours. Why is this not instead linked to the goal I entered? For example if I hit my sleep goal should I not get 50 out of 50? I am sure the majority of folks would not have 9 hours as a goal.

thanks!

@Mariaan Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for the details mentioned. Your sleep score will help you understand your sleep each night so you can see trends in your sleep patterns.

If you reach your sleep goal, this doesn't necessarily mean that you actually slept well the whole night. Because,  your overall nightly sleep score is based on your heart rate, the time you spend awake or restless, and your sleep stages. Learn more about how sleep scores are calculated here

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
