One of my favorite but must frustrating features on Fitbit is the Readiness Score. I'm a competitive road cyclist and check the Fitbit Premium app daily for metrics to get feedback to help my training.
I especially find the Readiness Score helpful to gain insight into how my body is recovering from workouts.
However, it has always been frustrating that this score does not just update along with all the other stats when I open the app in the morning. I do all sorts of things like close other apps, restart my iPhone, and just plain until the Readiness Score finally shows up. In the release that came out in the past month, the "improved" Readiness Score has gotten even worse.
Instead of the promised "improvements" it takes EVEN LONGER to get a score. As of the past couple days, I don't even get a score and now it appears to have lost all of my historic data. All I see is a "Calibrating" status message and "No score" from any of my history.
PLEASE prioritize fixing this. For the first time in the many years that I've had Fitbit, I'm considering looking into other smart swatches... It's really disappointing to have such a great feature that I love be so unreliable and create extra work just to get the number (which says something about how much I value it that I've been jumping through all these hoops every morning just to get my **ahem** readiness number lol) and now have it not working at all in place of the promised "improvements."
Best AnswerMe too and I’m pretty fed up. I think the idea was to the function available to those without Premium. Instead it broke jt rhr those with Premium, like me. Though I din’t see why I should carry in paying for fewer functions. Does this happen on Apple Watch does anyone know, or should I switch?
Same issue as others. It has been telling me to wear it 7 more nights for over a week. And all historical information is gone. I removed the readiness tile and brought it back. Then removed the Fitbit app and reinstalled. Nothing working. Hopefully they will fix this. If this is how they treat premium customers, I will not renew.
I noticed this morning (September 26, 2024) I am finally getting a Readiness Score again. However, I see 2 problems:
1) the score does not seem right. It says I'm at 35 which is typical if I've done a relatively hard workout the day before but not after 2 off days like I just had (I'd expect at least 70+ if not 90+). I'll keep an eye out to see if it self-corrects in the days ahead.
2) I am still missing the rest of my Readiness Score history.
Yes, Ines just popped up yesterday too. No historical date: not a problem for me but may be for some who are looking at patterns. Oh, well. All fine now then but something I’ll remember when I need a new smartwatch.

Best AnswerThe problem was fixed some weeks ago, at least in my app, when Fitbit finally got to together and sorted out its botched “upgrade”. If you are still having problems, try reloading the app, perhaps.
Best AnswerThe readiness score is working for me again. It seems to have gotten fixed with a recent update (it's been working for a couple weeks for me now). The scores seem to work a bit differently now. I'm still getting familiar with it, but I'm grateful it's working again.
Best AnswerStill busted for me - I've restarted my Fitbit, deleted and reinstalled the app to get the latest version, done everything they say to do, still no go. The total lack of communication is disheartening.
I agree about the frustration. The way the Readiness Score is calculated seems to have changed. I'm seeing my numbers but they seem to behave differently than they have in the past. With no explanation. Fitbit is really pushing hard for me to change to Apple.
