Restless sleeping

I've tried every suggestion from system settings to band orientation and the sleep numbers on my Sense (and my Inspire before it) are either ridiculously low from only recording a few hours of sleep to zero. I'm clearly sleeping and occasionally (maybe once a week) get a believable reading, but this is unacceptable considering this is my main reason for owning the device. I am a restless sleeper, which makes me wonder if I'm not still enough for my Sense to think I'm sleeping? 

I'm ready to return my second Fitbit for this same problem. Advice beyond, 'try restarting everything' or 'clean the sensor' is appreciated. Thanks!
