I live in the UK, which is a market in whcih one of the benefits of Google One is sharing Fitbit Premium membership with family members.
I have a Google One account with Fitbit Premium (and Nest Aware) included, and have added my wife to my Google family. However, she does not have Fitbit Premium in her Fitbit app, and when she tries to add it, it indicates it will charge her for it.
Any ideas?

@TravellingTyke I agree that the wording on that website is ambiguous. I had to read it several times to figure out what it was trying to say.
As for your wife's Premium subscription... I'm in the US, so things may be different where you are. Here new Fitbits come with a free 6-month Premium trial. If that's available to her, she could activate that. Then, when that expires in 6 months, she could connect your Fitbit to her app and activate your Premium trial, which you obviously don't need, and get another six months. After that, you can take back your Fitbit and the Premium trial will remain on her app.

@TravellingTyke I think you should contact Support for more help. This feature is only available in the UK to users with a Google One Premium or above plan. I'm not sure you will get an answer here, as this is a user to user help site.
How long ago did you set up your Google Family? Sometimes it takes 24 hours or more for a change to be reflected in Fitbit.

Hi @LZeeW
Thanks for the suggestion. I contacted Support as suggested. They insisted that Fitbit Premium is a personal membership only and cannot be shared. When I stated that this isn't about sharing *my* Fitbit Premium account per se, but sharing a benefit of my Google One subscription. The adviser directed me to Google Support.
I sent an email to Google Support who advised that this seems like a Fitbit issue and directed me back to Fitbit 🤦:male_sign:. I've replied this morning and clarified that the query relates to the sharing of a Google One benefit as opposed to Fitbit itself.
The reason I posted here was to see if anyone else had had the issue, and how they resolved it if so. Hopefully I make some traction with Support but if anyone else had experienced and resolved this I'd be grateful to hear from you.
Cheers!

Where are you seeing that you can share FitBit Premium? It looks like Google One Premium (the storage space) is shared with family, but certain benefits, like FitBit Premium, are limited to the main account. Super annoying because I set up Google One, but my wife would like the FitBit perk on her account.

@TravellingTyke here is a screenshot of the page that you linked to.
The heading for this section says "Benefits that can't be shared with family". Based on that, it would appear that this is an individual benefit for the Google One plan manager and it is not possible to share Fitbit Premium with family members.

@alexthecat yes I believe you're right.
I'd interpreted as "you can't share this, unless you're in the United Kingdom".
But I think what it's actually saying is "you can't share this, and by the way, this is only something you get with Google One if you're in the UK".
I'm not saying it's confusing, but I was confused by it 🤣
And it would have been nice for Fitbit/Google Support to advise that, rather than send me round in circles, but hey ho, it is what it is. At least I have the answer. If she wants FB Premium, she'll have to pay for it!
All the best

Yes, she can get a six month free trial of premium. I already used mine when I first got my fitbit, before I got Google One Premoum with fitbit premium included.
