@vee A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for the screenshots shared, I'll be happy to answer your question.
Your overall sleep score is a sum of your individual scores in sleep duration, sleep quality, and restoration, for a total score of up to 100. Most Fitbit users get a score between 72 and 83. Sleep score ranges are:
Quality of deep and REM sleep: how much time you spent in deep and REM sleep—the more time you spend in these sleep stages, the better your score.
Check out this article to learn how you could improve your sleep score.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Well, that didn’t answer my question. I was looking specifically at the deep Rem and how I had more, but got a lower score. again, just specifically the deep rem score. did you look at my pictures?? I have read all the generic articles

I was going to send this directly to support but had hoped I could get an answer here. I but you just shoot out generic information without looking specifically at the question!

@vee Thanks for getting back. I appreciate that you mentioned you already read the articled I attached.
Deep and REM is 25% of the score. These 2 sleep stages clue you in to the quality of your rest. Together they help you unlock the restorative power of sleep. You can't control deep or REM sleep. But you can adopt habits during the day that help you put you in the sweet spot for both stages.
The best way to improve the score you're getting in this stage is to follow the tips here. Have you received a higher score before? Did this change recently?
Catch you later.

Yes, I was specifically wondering why 1 hour and10 minutes of Deep Sleep with 32% of REM only got 18/25 while 52 min of Deep with 21% REM got higher 21/25. That is not what I would expect after reading the articles and seems to be an error. Articles state that more is better, though all I can think is that I got a lower score because the REM was higher than normal. It's by far my lowest DEEP/REM score of the week but one of the highest amounts of Deep Sleep. The articles just don't answer this, they should probably be amended to say too much REM will lower your score

Hello Vee
I had the same problem last night, 31% REM, 12% deep sleep, and a deep and REM score of 18/25. I want to know why more REM is bad too. Fitbit just haven't answered your question. 🤨 😳
