Hello, I just got my Fitbit sense and the premium app in order to track sleep. Should this work on my first night? So far it is telling me congratulations that I slept for 8 hours when I know I didn't. It also does not give me my REM, Light, and Deep sleep breakdown. Instead, it marks no stages. Is this working properly? I thought it would provide more data, but if this is it...I will be returning the Fitbit.

@CharlieC2020 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
Glad to hear you got a Fitbit Sense. All wrist-based Fitbit devices automatically detect your sleep when you wear your device to bed. We recommend wearing your device in a snug wristband while sleeping; don’t wear your device in a clip or pendant accessory.
Take into consideration that in order for your watch to track sleep stages, it needs to track your heart rate, learn more about it by checking this article What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?
Hope this helps.
