Unable to access Web Dashboard

I was a loyal Fitbit user. Then it went to Google and I can't access my data on my laptop. I suppose you must pay to play now. My simple question is..is it worth it?

@Billtnt26   Fitbit shut down the web dashboard to all users on July 8.  I apologize if I misread what you wrote.  It isn't necessary to pay to play, because there is no Premium content on the web.  All Premium features are on the Fitbit app.  If this doesn't answer your question, can you ask it a different way?

The Premium service is a paid subscription?
And isn’t Fitbit now owned by Google?

@Billtnt26   Yes, the Premium service is a paid subscription that gives you additional insights to you personal data and access the the workout videos, among other features.  You can see a side by side comparison on this page.  And yes, google has owned Fitbit since 2021.

The web dashboard was very out of date with respect to certain features.  It was never updated to show your sleep score or active zone minutes.  None of the Health Metrics data are on the web dashboard.  When I joined Fitbit in 2013, the Premium content was on the web, but it was VERY different from what it is now.  All Premium content has been on the mobile app for many years, too.

I am making these points because you posted your thread in the Premium forum.  Shutting down the web dashboard has no effect on Premium.

Things have been getting increasingly worse since G* took over. Everything I used regularly, the useful, to me, parts have been stripped out.  The web interface is completely gone. I hate using the app but like everything else Google touches, this too will soon be gone. If it's good and useful they always seem to deprecate it in some way.
Thankfully I just got the sizing kit for my next wearable and this old Sense 2 is going to be replaced and G*/FitBit will lose yet another customer. I'm not the first, and won't be the last. I've been waiting for this thing to die, but it hasn't.. so time to move along anyway.
