I want to give away the new Charge 5 with premium to christmas.

Has anybody done this and can help me if the Premium is automatically connected with the account I have to create with the order 

Or can the Person who get the Charge 5 connect it with his own (new) fitbit account?

Hi there, @Symoneb. Welcome to the Community Forums. You have a really good question.

 

The Fitbit Premium trial will be connected directly with the Fitbit account that is linked to the Fitbit Charge 5. If you haven't use this trial, you can give away the Fitbit Charge 5 and once your friend set up this device to his/her account will be able to use the Fitbit Premium subscription following these steps: 

 

  1. Tap the Premium tab.
  2. Read the overview, and tap the button to get started.
  3. Choose a 1-year or monthly subscription to start after your trial, and follow the instructions to subscribe.
