Did you mean:

www.fitbit.com has banned your IP address

This morning my Android app would not sync at all.

When I went to the help section of the app I got the message that the IP was banned.

I use Google ONE VPN, so I created a bypass rule for the app and it worked.

https://whatismyipaddress.com/ service is geolocating the IP in Iran (other service show it's UK based).

So I'm guessing fitbit.com security is getting the incorrect geolocation data from a provider and blocking the IP.

Hi @Insane_Homer, thanks a lot for the picture.

By checking into our records, I found that the issue might be related to your IP address and should resolve within 48 hours. I'll recommend waiting until tomorrow, and if the issue persists, let me know.

Sigh. It is not "my IP" it's the proxy IP address of a Google ONE VPN service within the google network;

The IP was removed by mod from my first post as "personal information", it's not.
