Too many ads?

Hey I am a FitBit advocate but I have been noticing a heap of ads coming through as I use the app. 

I dont remember giving permission for them and now it’s getting over the top. 

Has anybody else noticed this abuse of the relationship?

I'm sorry but I get no ads what so ever.

I would try this:

Un-install app. Shut down phone.

Go back in and re-install

One type of ads are you referring to @FamilyMan and where are they showing up?

You mention the Fitbit app, is this on the phone or computer? Your post however is on the board for web browser problems.

As for adds, the only ones you should see are an occasional banner in the browser, the will be none on the Fitbit App.

As for popups check your system for malware.

I am talking about the Apple iPhone Fitbit app.

I used to get one promotion a month or so advertising their new products or a discount. Now it’s much more frequent and they are also promoting their fitnesses app partners and programs.

It’s almost getting to the point of looking elsewhere as it’s too invasive.

It’s their call but abusing a trusted relationship has never worked out well for other companies.
