My Flex 2 does not record/recognize stairs climbed

I don't think Flex 2 is supposed to, even though the phone app looks like thee is a spot for stair.  It does not include the required altimeter.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
