Adding load to automatic walk record

Hi.  So the Fitbit records automatically to dashboard when you walk and the corresponding steps, duration and calories burnt.  However load is not an editable option.  For example there are days that I carry shopping weighing in excess of 21llbs for 20 mins or more, which is a higher calorie burn than the automated Fitbit calculation reflected on the dashboard.  How come I cannot edit to reflect load, effort I.e. hill climb, etc.?

This was a decision Fitbit made. Your the first person I've seen ask about this in 6 years.

As for calories burnt while carrying a load, Fitbit would also need to know how your carrying the load.

Some day while walking, especially up the stairs, try putting the basket on your head, instead of simply holding in front of you. You colories burnt will drop by 70%.

Fitbit doesn't add extra calories for climbing stairs.
