Battery life for flex (not flex2)

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So still using my flex from 2015... battery life is now down to needing to be charged every 6-8 hours. Any solutions outside of buying another device? I’ve reset it a millions times and nothing has changed. It has gradually gotten to this point over the past few years...:(

Not really. Battery life is based on its history.

Don't let it go much below 30% or charge much over 80%

Don't let it get to hot or cold.

There also is a limit to how many times a battery can be charged.

If you can get the battery out, some have discharged a capacitor through the battery and this has helped.

Of course if one doesn't know what they are doing the resulting fire and burns to body...

And I thought mine was bad needing to be charged ever 2.5 days. Ouch

Seeing that some of you could have a up to a 6 year old battery in their flex, anything could be possible.

We should not expect much more than 1000 — 1500 charges.
