Whiring sound when charging

My flex battery makes a whiring sound when it charges? Only my second time charging it and was gifted it for christmas. Any ideas?

Hi @SunsetRunner  I had a Flex and it didn't make any noise while charging. Have you tried doing a restart of the device? 

 

  1. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Remove the pebble from the wristband and insert it into the charging cable. 
     
  3. Insert a paperclip into the small pinhole on the back of the charger.
  4. Press on the pinhole for 3-4 seconds.
  5. Take your tracker out of the charger and insert it back into the wristband.

The thing you call a battery is the actual tracker. 

My thought I'd that some component in the charging circuit may be going bad. 

Did someone gifted you a tracker that is at least 2.5 and maybe 7 years old?
