When I go to mobile track on my iPhone, I cannot sync. The Sync Now button is there but nothing happens when I tap on it.

Hi LucyAP,
I have the same problem as Bre64.
My answer to your 3 bullet points is Yes to all.
Why my mobiletracker is unable to sync and the sync now button is grayed out?
Thank you.

@ST71 -- if your tracker is nearby the sync now button for mobiletrack will be grayed out and the phone won't sync because Fitbit defaults to syncing with your tracker. If you get your tracker out of range of your phone, you should be able to sync mobiletrack.
Hope that helps. Let us know.

When you are using MobileTrak with your iPhone, you can sync but "NOT" with the sync button if you had paired with a Flex 2 already.
In order to sync the iPhone while you have a paired Flex 2 is to quit the Fitbit app and then re-launch the app again. This will then allow the app to sync with your iPhone's steps. To resync again, you need to quit the application and then re-launch the app again.
I use my Flex 2 with MobileTrak and this is the only work around when the Flex 2 is not around, but paired physically to the phone. When the Flex 2 is connected, it will take over the steps counting and auto activities logging.

Looks like synchronization button is greyed out (disabled) while fitbit app tries to find fitbit tracker for synchronization (even if it is not in the proxymity). App restart does not work for me. As workaround I found just disable Bluetooth for a while and then do synchronization.

I am having the same issue. I (regretfully) updated the app last night and now my sync is greyed out. I tried rebooting the phone, restarting the app, and turning off bluetooth. When I turn off bluetooth, I am able to click the sync button, but it doesn't actually sync. It just shows my phone tracker steps. When I turn bluetooth back on, it's greyed out and the steps have still not been updated. I am so annoyed that I updated the app.
