Continuous issues and advertisements on Fitbit app

The Fitbit app is too glitchy, making it totally useless on my Galaxy. Not only that, Fitbit recklessly and constantly serves adverts to upgrade or sell new devices, arrogantly wasting my precious bandwidth. I used to like Will Smith, but now I hate him.

I'm now in the market for a fitness tracker that comes with a bare-bones app without all the bloatware so common with apps today. Apps are so bloated today because, for every model phone out there, ten patches are required to plug holes. There are a thousand models of phones in use now, so every app released now comes with 10,000 patches.

Not only that, but every app now is bloated with every trojan imaginable, to spy and track everything we do.

Apps are no longer a working model. I remember when an app was less than one megabyte, performing flawlessly, day and night, 24/7/365. Constant, non-stop updates have obsoleted all of our legacy apps, even forcing us to buy new phones repeatedly.

If I can't find what I'm looking for, I plan to purchase a stand-alone tracker, one which will have the ability to upload data via Bluetooth directly to my phone.

Fitbit is not alone. There are no longer any positive reviews whatsoever for any app in the Google store, for example. Everyone is complaining about the feature, function and value of every single app at the store.

The browser is a universal app. What happened to that design? Fitbit could easily write HTML and Java code that interfaces directly with any of its tracking devices, but it's chooses to go the bloatware route. Why?

Well, I'm not going to take it anymore.

That's quite a statement: no positive reviews for any app in Google store.  So if I were to happen to write a positive review for some app, would that throw off the balance of the whole universe?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Some people just don't know hyperbole when they see it.

Why be a troll when you have the opportunity to show sympathy for victims of apps that simply don't work? Virtually everyone in this entire forum is grousing about the Fitbit app that is nothing more than a worthless cludge if bloatware.

Yeah, and the feature probably quit working with the last update. And they don't let you revert to a previous version, so you have no option but to throw your device in the trash can and buy a new one. Genius or fraud?
