Fitbit Flex stopped working and wont sync/connect

Fitbit flex was working fine, then just shut off. I had reset it, and charged it multiple times and it just kept shutting off. I let it sit on a charger over night. Now it turns on just fine and appears to stay on. However it will not connect to my phone. 

 

I go through the process and it says "we found your flex!" then never goes any further, it will not connect from that point. I have again continued to try to reset it, still does the same thing. I have force closed the app, deleted and re-installed the app. Nothing. IOS is up to date as well.

 

I tried it on desktop, and it wont connect. The odd thing is on both my phone and my computer, it never shows up in the "bluetooth devices". But it does say on the iphone app that it is found, just wont go past that point.

 

any ideas?

Hi @andy1799,

 

You need to restart your phone.  It's clear that the device and the phone are "seeing" each other but aren't "shaking".  The fact that they're not "shaking" is what's causing the problem.  By restarting the phone, you're shaking out any bugs that could prevent it from "shaking" with your device.
