Fitbit flex won't stop flashing

I haven't used my flex in a while so I thought I would use it. It was working fine yesterday afternoon. This morning when I went to do an update on my flex it was working fine until I closed the fitbit app. I tried opening it again and my flex wouldn't sync to the app. The dots won't stop flashing in the 1 and 4 position's.

It also won't let me do any other functions like tracking my steps.
