None of your suggestions work. It was working when I got up this morning and then just quit. Step number went backwards and won't sink either on my iPhone or computer. Very frustrating!!!

Hi. I have lost all my steps three times today ....Did you take your fitbit back??? If it cant count your steps ...it can only make for an ugly bracelet.:)

My battery is charged. It showed 12,344 steps and now shows nothing. Why?

I had this same issue happen today. I accidentally deleted a workout from yesterday then manually added it back.
I then charged my Fitbit and noticed I lost 6,000 steps. Google took me here. I checked time zones as well.
I went back into the workout added and noticed it started yesterday and ended today. I updated it to end yesterday and everything reset normally.
hopefully this helps?

This worked for me! I removed the exercise I recorded and my steps came back.

"for some reason" sounds like a bug! I will keep that in mind now. It's not worth it, apparently, to manually enter a walk. Trouble is, fitbit doesn't always "capture" it. 😞
