Flex 2 not syncing or pairing

i've had my flex 2 for a little while. today it did not sync and when i went to pair it through my computer, it would not recognize it.   i have done the following:

 

  • restarted my iphone se 2020
  • uninstalled and reinstalled the app on both my chrome book and my iphone
  • tried pairing and syncing through my chrome book away from any other fitbit devices
  • turned the bluetooth on and off on both devices after 10 seconds. 

is there anything else that can be done?  the Flex 2 has been the only device waterproof enough to stand up to my job (dishwashing) and when i am swimming. including being compared to newer fitbits.

First thing is to pick s device and turn the bluetooth off on the other device.

Do not remove the tracker from your Fitbit account.

Let's remove the tracker from the bluetooth list on the device that you are trying to sync through.

Force stop the Fitbit app and clear its cache.

 

When it comes to the Chrome OS, the operating system will not allow a Fitbit to sync.
