I bought a new flex recently and it was working fine. However the app and flex have been syncing intermittently. Today it wasn't syncing again so I tried resetting everything.. Nothing. Then I unpaired the flex and now the app is having issues connecting to it even when the flex is right on top of the app!! I need a solution fast as its driving me crazy!!

I had to replace an existing Flex and purchased a new sealed one from eBay. This worked up to this week. I'm using an android phone which I used with my old flex. I've seen reviews on the Fitbit play store recently where other people have had the same issues. Perhaps there has been an update on the call that is affecting string etc

Sealed from eBay still means it's an older device. All you can do is be sure the firmware is updated on the Flex and you're using the latest app for your phone.

Hi @Trurorules you bought a new flex that Fitbit stopped making 5 years ago? There also was a company making Flex compatible devices.
Inspiring a Flex from the phone will not require a user to setup the Fitbit. Removing a non syncing flex from the Fitbit app will not fix a sync issue, but will dig a deeper hole to climb out of.
Let's try the sync tips. Once the sync problem is fixed you should be able to setup the flex.
