For three weeks all has been well then I decided that as I had a very busy day the next day I would charge my Fitbit Flex2. Put pebble in charger, all seemed fine. Dashboard showed Medium charge (Amber) but I didn't ever get the message that it was fully charged and Dashboard went from Medium to red = "Dead" !! Tried a friends charger and Pebble seems charged OK so went to Retailer where I purchased and they changed my charger unit. Put pebble in, vibrates, shows 4 white and one Green light. Back in strap - Dashboard reads Dead! Tried putting Pebble in charger and pressing button 3 times - No change! Dashboard reads Dead and Fitbit not synching or registering steps! Is my Fitbit dead?? 😞

Excellent input @NellyG!
@Pharmtech thanks for the updates! Let's sort this out. Thanks for restarting your tracker beforehand just like NellyG suggested. I see you have mentioned that you get all five flashing lights on your Flex 2 but when you try to sync your tracker to your app, your steps are not recorded? Do let me know!
Let's try re-pairing your Flex 2 once again to your app by doing the following:
This also works similar to a restart. Keep me posted!

@Becky2234lk, it's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Let me help you with your Flex 2 not working. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.
@Pharmtech thank you for your help here.
Let me know how it goes.

Hello there, my 2016 Purchased Fitbit Flex 2 no longer charges up or starts up at all, it effectively has gone fully defective. Does it mean the internal battery has ceased to work after 3 years or is it just dead? I tried reseting it on the Flex 2 charger (click 3 times and all that), no success. What do I do ? Is it possible to send it to Fitbit for a new battery if that is the issue, as I have no idea how long a Flex 2 can last over the years, this one was purchased in October 2016 for my Birthday. Many thanks for any tops on how to get the Flex 2 working again.

Contact support, they'll tell you too bad, no fix, and give you 35% off a new unit that is much larger and more cumbersome than the flex 2 they stopped making.
