How do I delete account & start again with new Fitbit using same email

Deleting an account so that you can start again with the same email is a long process and is described in https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1285/

 

It would be much quicker (and simpler) if you were to use your new fitbit with your current account, keeping all your settings and historical tracking data. Are you sure you want to remove all the data associated with your old fitbit?
