My Fitbit App has stopped working correctly

Several months ago my Flex 2 stopped notifying me when I had reached my step goal for the day. And then my alarm setting quit working correctly. Yesterday it quit tracking anything. I ended up deleting the app, then downloading it again, and creating a new account with a different email address. Everything worked again! But I lost all my history. Since I have used it to track everything since 2013, I hated losing all my data. So I deleted the new account and relaunched my old one. Now the only options I have on the app are calories, exercise days, and weight. When I try to edit it, the only options I can add are mindfulness, blood glucose, menstrual health, water and food. What I want to track are steps, miles, calories, sleep, weight, and exercise days. I used the alarm a lot when it worked, so it would be nice to also have that again. Is there any way to fix this?!!!!

dHi, @downtown52 , are you still having this issue?  Please delete your app completely and re download.  Then log into the newly downloaded app with your original email and password.

if you are not seeing the tiles you require (steps, distance, calories, etc.):

Using either Android or iOS, on the opening screen of the app click on “edit” - it’s to the right of the word “Today” near the top.  Scroll down to see all available stats.  Delete any stats that are of no interest to you by clicking on the X.  Click on “Add” to add any missing ones that you want.  You can also touch, hold and drag any stat to change the order.  When you are finished please click “done” .

If you are one the web based dashboard click the little grid of boxes to the top left of your opening screen and you will see available stats to add.

I hope this helps!  Please post again if anything is unclear.

Mine quit syncing out of the blue. I deleted the app and reinstalled it. It worked again briefly but then it went to failing again. I forgot the device and started over. But then the screen stopped displaying. Now I can’t add the Inspire2 back because I cannot see the numbers to pair with my phone. I am so frustrated and exhausted with this. Are these things happening because of the change of ownership???
