New Flex 2 won’t charge

My brand new FitBit Flex 2 won’t charge. It just flashes at the first dot despite being plugged in for hours. When unplugged, it won’t even switch on. The app constantly says the tracker’s battery is empty. 

I also restarted the device multiple times and deleted/reloaded the app but it doesn’t help. 

The tracker doesn’t vibrate when inserted in the charger or when restarted. Any advice?

I am having the exact same problem as this post. Brand new Fitbit flex 2 out of the box (replacement of a faulty one). Will not charge, only one dot flashing, while app states battery is empty. Tried all troubleshooting guide steps. Please help.

I ultimately had to send mine in for a replacement...it was basically a lemon per the support team.

i managed to find a flex 2 and just got it last night. fresh out of a sealed box. it’s doing the same thing. should i just return it or did you end up finding a solution?

I have been claimed 5 times for flex 2, and it still happen this issue! From November 2020, until March 2021. Total 5 pcs still having the same issue, and today i receied the new replacement it still have happen! I'm going to claim again for this which is the 6 times claiming. FITBIT! What actually are you doing over there !!! Such a lousy product !!

Similar problem. I have a flex 2 that I had gifted to my wife a couple of years ago. She finally unboxed it and tried to charge it and its the same problem. Keeps blinking at the first light and won't proceed. The sync on the iOS app seems to get stuck at 80% every time. Any ideas on what can be done about it?

Same problem.  New Fitbit 2 out of the box and won't charge.  Did all troubleshooting suggestions.
