Poor GPS Alert

Over the past two weeks I've encountered the "Poor GPS" alert with resulting poor tracking (running),

distance errors of 5-40%.

The tracking has worked flawlessly over the past few years and appears to have started after a recent update and yes, I've tried all the recommended solutions, restarting, location services, etc to no avail.

Device is an iPhone 5S, ios 12.4.6, Fitbit Version 3.19

Any chance of getting this issue(bug) resolved?

Thanks,

John

@atmer Thanks for joining us! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your GPS detection and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Lets try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker and clearing the connection by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
