Setting up Flex 2 on iPhone

I am kind of late to the party but I just bought a Flex 2. I picked Flex 2 because of the lack of display but I have some troubles setting it up:

I try to set it up using the Fitbit app on an iPhone SE2 (iOS 16.2) but without any luck. When I try to "Set Up a Device" and picking Flex 2 (or any other kind of band for the matter), it pops up the following message:

You must give "Fitbit" access to Bluetooth to sync your data.

With the "Not Now" option I cannot continue and with the "Settings" option I am direced to the iPhone settings, wher I can allow the app different access types. The access to bluetooth does not appear here. Also, in the "Privacy & Security / Bluetooth" setting, I cannot add Fitbit as allowed application.

Other than that, I tried to connect the Flex to the phone, directly via Bluetooth but it does not see (I tried while charging, after interacting with the peble, etc. but without any affect)

I am not sure what other options are possible, but is there any way to connect my Flex 2 to the phone or it is not supported any more?

Long story short, I managed to connect. For others might face with the same question here is what I found:
- The Fitbit application requests for bluetooth access at the first start after installation
- Later on when adding new devices it does not request for it again but checks it it has privileges (this is where the popup comes)
- In case, during first startup, the setting "Screen Time / Content & Privacy Restrictions / Bluetooth Sharing" is set to "Don't Allow", then this request will not trigger user action, and the access cannot be guaranteed
- This case no device can be paired
Thus the solution is to set the settings above to "Allow", reinstall and start the Fitbit application.
