Another quick update; work and life cut my October mileage a bit, but I still managed 161 miles, which if I duplicate the mileage again this months will get me to my goal; I'm currently sitting at 1,898.88 miles on the year, so only 122.12 miles to go, not quite in the bag yet, but getting there.
@cathm I'd like to join for 2022 as well. Only problem is I measure in km not miles. I know that means I would need to do 3254km in the year but I might make working out how I am going a bit weird! Does anyone else do it in km?

Made it!
Even with all of the physical and health challenges I've had this year, and with still a few hours left in November of 2021, I hit 2,021 miles for the year today. As it stands at this moment, I have 2,022.38 miles, and with any luck, I'll be up around 2,200 by 31-Dec-2021. 🙂
I finally got around to tallying up my year end numbers; given my wife and I needed to make a rather last-minute move of residences in December, it was kind of a down month where I only managed 179 miles; even still, my total for 2021 was 2,201 miles. 🙂
From the interesting statistics department, I put my daily miles in a spreadsheet and not only totaled them by month, but also by day of the month. Most days between the 1st and the 30th ranged between the low 60s and the mid 70s; for the year 2021, the second highest mileage day of the month was the 6th where I logged 85.01 miles on the 12 "sixth" days, however, there is one significant outlier, the highest mileage day of the month was the 24th where I logged 99.80 miles. What was so special about the 24th day of each month? I have no clue.
