I am new to fitbit. Does marching in place count as sets for the fitbit Flex? I am recovering from a knee injury and am not comfortable walking outside in the snow and ice yet. I have been walking inside but as I was folding laundry yesterday I found myself marching in place and wondered if the Fitbit will count this as steps?
Best AnswerHi broph. I can say definitively that it does for the Charge, and I believe walking in place will count for the flex as well. For peace of mind, I suggest checking your dashboard for current steps. Then count 100 in place steps, and do a forced sync before checking your dashboard to see if the 100 steps registered. It's always good to move your arms while walking in place to. Hope this helps.

Best Answerthanks for the suggestion. I will do that now and see if it counts the steps as I march. Watching the MIchigan State basketball game and my nervous energy should be put to good use. Marching in front of the fireplace while watching burns more caloried!!
Best AnswerHi! I often walk on a mini-tramp while watching the evening news. Like you, I find it easier on the knees and hips. Not to mention it is 6 degrees here in Indianapolis! Sometimes I do jumping jacks on the tramp and that registers nicely too!

@ShanC Does that mean it has "warmed up" to 6 degrees? I grew up about 90 miles west of you in Decatur, Il. I had a text from one of my brothers that still lives there the other day and he said it had been -6 !!
Good luck

Hey there @MrsMD welcome to the forums! I have encountered this while whisking things
You can certainly negate the steps like this:
On another note, I could never stand the cold! I thought I was going to die when I was at New York and we were at 8 degrees ![]()
