if you have all day sync on, you do not have to sync in order for your stats to show up. if your phone is in bluetooth range a sync will occur. If you do a "real" sync your data will fully sync and carry over to the servers. Short answer, if you are in range of your bluetooth, a sync will occur.

Best AnswerBase metabolic burn (somewhere around 1 cal/min) is calculated from body weight and time of day. It is updated automatically without syncing, and will still increase even without specific activity data from the device.
@B3 You can turn on all-day sync in the app. By default, it is already on, so if you never turned it off, it should still be on.
To find this, go into the Fitbit app and click on the icon in the upper left hand corner. Then select your Fitbit Inspire HR, then scroll down to where it says "All-Day Sync" and toggle it on or off.
