I’ve been wondering why calories are not displayed in the summary of exercises displayed in the mobile app, when the exercise type is Weights:
It’s not like that number is not available: if I display the details for that exercise, calories are displayed under their own tab, complete with graph:
The other thing that doesn’t make much sense to me is why include distance for Weights: who lifts with distance in mind during their workout?! Duration would be a more sensible metrics to include on the summary for the exercise. Like for the autodetected Sport exercise above (which happened to be quick snow removal at my place): duration, calories burned, average HR, makes perfect sense.
All of the above was with the Ionic, btw.

@Dominique, it's a bug or bug-like entity. I've seen several reports of it so far. If you log out and reboot it will fix it for a day or so.
It's mostly a display problem. The numbers when you click through are correct.
It's not just weights, workout does it also and other modes too. Can't recall exactly when the problem started, but it didn't used to display like this.
Edit:
Here is today's workout. First image is on current android app, 2nd is viewing on Windows 10. Same exercise, same average HR, etc.

The reports I've read of it have been Ionic on Android. Not sure if other models are affected, but Android seems to be the common thread. Here is another one. And another. And another.
@Dominique, if you go back through your activity list, was there a time when the 'dash calories' and distance began showing up? For me it was Oct 6 of 2017. Entries before that date all show correctly.

it seems like the ionic and android are not good friends yet. Most issues that I have had and others stem from the two trying to get along. on a different topic @WavyDavey I am very jealous of your calorie burn.
