Hi @Tami , You are welcome to create a thread about health, fitness, weight loss, or your favorite Fitbit device here on the community discussion boards.
Fitbit Groups will remain active and if you're a member of any private groups you will be able to continue to post to those groups, create additional groups, and join existing groups. The engineering team is working to resolve the issue with the inability to post new discussions. I'll gladly update you here when that has been resolved.
Thanks!
Best AnswerHi Allison,
So far, that isn't true. There isn't a reply button anymore on our group page. And we're in the middle of a December challenge so that's a bit problematic. Are they fixing that soon?

@Gayle Our site team is on it. They've made the necessary changes and are waiting for a window to release the update. I'll let you know when that happens.

I certainly hope it isn't another week! Where did they report that? Our group is doing a daily challenge for all of December and part of it involves communicating your results daily. A bit hard to do when we were told we wouldn't lose our group.
Best AnswerI am very disappointed in Fitbit. They obviously did not do proper testing on this before they rolled it out.
It is one thing to have to fix something that was first broke. But Fitbit broke something that was working, with the promise that they were giving us something better.
I do hope this does not take as much time you they are currently projecting.

Sorry for your disappointment, @Tami. Our engineers are aware of this issue and are currently working through it. We are hoping to push a fix for this bug in the next day or two. (You can revisit my earlier update here.)
Meanwhile, I suggest making new friends here on the community. Who knows, maybe you'll even find some future group members! I have added an announcement at the top of the page, and will update that announcement and this post when I have more information. Thanks in advance for your patience.

You can now post and reply to topics in your Groups! Our engineers have resolved the issue and everything should be working as expected.
I thought the new setup would also be in our group discussions. It looks like the same exact setup as before? It would be so cool to have this type of messaging system within our groups!
Best Answercan we set up a new group with all the nice html, pictures, etc... how would we do that. I am happy to have posting back on my old group but we would like the new and improved format. TIA

Great to hear you're enjoying the upgrades made to the Fitbit Community! The Community is separate from Groups. Groups have been redesigned to include a new search feature and main page--we hope these changes will improve your experience with Groups, and it's good to note that we don't have plans to make any additional changes to the layout, features or functionality of Groups.
