When one completes this 24,000+ mile mark, what is the badge for this feat . Has anyone ever ever accomplished this task!

I've been counting steps since the start of 2013, and although very little is possible at the moment, it doesn't change what has gone before. My total number of steps for that time is approaching 118 million. I use devices that are are not Fitbits, so distance is approximate, but I reckon that by the end of this year I will have gone round the circumference of the Earth twice.
@Boson1969, keep going, and well done!

@Vidd Sir, around 120 million steps in about 12 years is about 10 million steps a year! It is a PHENOMENAL record! I checked my average daily steps (which are around 28k daily), and I am only managing around 0.8 to 0.85 million steps a month. Which is less than 10 million a year.
I have tried a lot of devices before I got my current Fitbit in March 13 last year, but most of them are highly inaccurate, meaning that they count a lot more steps than actual. I found Fitbit to be the most accurate pedometer so far.
So, for any walker 10 million steps a year is really huge! And to sustain it for the last 12 years is ever more mind blowing. Truly a world record achievement in my view.

@Boson1969, that's very kind of you, but somewhat too generous. It's almost 13 years, rather than 12, and it's not going to be much over 118 million by the end of 2025, so the average is a little over 9M per year, or nearly 25000/day. I was over 10m/year for a run of seven years.
You are extremely close to doing 10M/year! Keep it up!!

That’s impressive! It’s amazing how many miles Fitbit users log over time. Completing 24,000+ miles — literally circumnavigating the Earth — is an incredible achievement, even if there’s no new badge for it. Fitbit should definitely consider adding one for that milestone! :globe_showing_americas:👏
