This sounds weird, but Fitbit keeps warning me about over training. I don't even average a full 10k steps every day. Average usually is around 8k. I haven't even been working out. I go to work (retail, fulltime) and try to do as little as possible when I'm home. My days off may not even see 1k steps, when I feel the epitome of lazy.
My rate does take to stay in the upper 80's to low 100's most of the time when I'm working, and I know that plays a factor but it doesn't seem like it's that high? My cardio fitness is estimated around 42 to 47.
Just feels likes I'm missing some factor or understanding and it's a little concerning that Fitbit says I'm over training everyday unless I take a particularly lazy day off.

Had the same issue and changed my goal from maintain fitness to improve fitness. Overtraining warnings are now rare, but on lazy days I get ‘risk of under training’. LOL

Fitness trackers can be a bit too sensitive sometimes. If you’re not actually feeling worn out, I’d say don’t stress too much about those alerts.

Huh, I hadn't thought about trying that. Guess if nothing else it'll stop nagging me with the over training messages. Thanks!

Hello @Feral.Queen
I saw your post in another thread that you've had your Fitbit device since about mid-June. My thoughts are the Fitbit Cardio Load algorithm could still be "calibrating". In this help page (<-- click) about Cardio Load and Cardio Target Load, the algorithm compares your recent activity to your average over the last 4 weeks. You've got about 6 weeks of data so far. I wouldn't be surprised if you see your Cardio target ranges settle down by the end of this month with more data. At least, that's what I've experienced.
If you don't think you need to improve your cardio fitness score, you can keep your goal at Maintain and ignore the over training messages. If you switch to Improve, you may not see the over training message. However, based on user posts that I've seen, you might start seeing higher target ranges. Some users have reported ridiculously high (at least to me) ranges.
I have my goal set to Maintain and pretty much pay attention to where my dot is on the 7 day activity bar graph.
