Does the One sync only to the wireless USB receiver, or also via Bluetooth?

Is it possible to sync directly to a tab or cell phone through Bluetooth, or do I have to take the USB thing with me everywhere?

It syncs when you get close to it, not constantly.

There are some phones and tablets it synchs to.  There is a list of them here on the site somewhere.  Only certain Fitbits do it, too.  

 

Though why would you want to take the usb thing everywhere?  Do you mean to see your stats while you're at work or something?  Can't you just check your device's display?
