Early morning steppers - how many steps before work, etc.?

Early birds get the worm - how many steps before work do you do - or are you an early morning stepper and how many steps in the wee early hours do you do ?

I try to get half of my steps in at the gym in the morning before work. The gym opens at 5AM. I leave the gym around 6:15, go home, shower and have breakfast. I have to be at work by 7:30 AM. But I have found with half ( usually more) of my steps done before work, I have more energy, I'm more alert, and more productive. Plus my total number of steps keeps climbing. When I started at the end of June, 10,000 steps seemed like a huge number and now I walk 11-12,000 steps on weekdays and more on weekends.

Hi,

I just joined the.. Fitbit Red Tennis Shoe Group and have just started to contributing to the

Fitbit Discussions on Fitbit Forum... I am feeling very motivated again to reach my goal every day or at least make an effort to get closer to it than have recently..

I have a desk job in a call centre this does make it hard to build up steps. But is possible i proved that to myself already..
