Personally I feel like If I make my step goal every day, it isn't high enough. Granted, I'm just starting out and my goal right now is only 5000. My problem has more to do with time and motivation than my fitness level, and changing my lifstyle is my true goal, and that stuff takes time. But I figure once I can consistenly meet my goal for a week or so, I'll be bumping it up. I think my calendar would look pretty bad!
As a visual sort of person though, I do like the idea of having a visual representation of each month looking back at you every day. 🙂

I have something like this from last year. (just got my fitbit so my calendar was just marked with workouts not steps). Starting in Jan of 2013 I wrote everywork out in green glitter pen. Every dog walk, run, p90x, insanity, weight lifting workout...On days that I didn't work out I put a big purple X. I got the same calendar this year and on Christmas day I flipped thru 2013 reminding myself how my year went. Love seeing the green. Hate seeing the purple X's.
