Fitbit @ Walt Disney World

I'm going in January, and wondered if anyone has gone, what has been your general step count after a day in the parks?

I haven't been to Walt Disney World, but I go to Disneyland several times per month. I walked 25,000 steps on my last visit.

Awesome, thanks. I believe Magic Kingdom is a little larger so between that and walking around at the resort I should clock 30,000 daily. Now, just time to fit in a nap somewhere. 🙂

Also, my trip was only about 6 hours long, so there's even more potential to exceed that if you will be there all day. 🙂

I think I averaged 25000/day for 5 days straight at Disneyland once, but I was the 'runner' in the group, running around getting Fast Passes and such.

Hey Steven, I live down here and the most I have done park hopping has been in the 30's. Generally I have only gotten in the 20's, but since I live here I dont go from open to close either. Usually maybe 6 hours or so. Keep in mind, there is a whole lot of standing around or moving slowly that doesnt register either, at least not on my fit bit. Have a great time!

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences. Definitely seems like I'll be able to clock a good amount of steps in. Now if I can just stay away from the Dole Whips and Hot Dogs 🙂

The first weekend in January is the marathon.  I generally get 80,000 steps during that 😉

Otherwise, the parks average 5-10 miles a day.

The best nap spot in Magic Kingdom is Carousel of Progress!  It's a 15-20 minute attraction and I usually get a great power nap in.

Oh no, don't get me wrong! It's one of my favorite rides, too. My family can quote most of the ride. But it is a good nap spot, too!

Hi Steven. How many steps did you get in when you went to WDW? We are going in September and I am excited to see how many steps I can get in while I am there.
