Best AnswerI like the new hourly indicator they have added to the fitbit. Wish it buzzed every hour though.:)
Now I get up every hour and walk around the house for at least 250 steps. It really adds up fast and I feel much more energetic also.

You should also try running in place and see how long you can last doing that. You will get a lot of steps in and not even realize it as long as your mind is on something else while you are doing that excercise.

All it takes to get 10,000 steps is a one-hour walk. If you are spending the whole day at home, you should be able to dedicate that much to a single walk. That would still leave you with plenty of time for watching TV, resting from your long shifts, shopping for grocery etc.

The Alta has a "Reminder to move" feature, that kind of does that. It’s the only Fitbit with such a feature for the time being, but my understanding is it will eventually be added to the Blaze via a firmware update.

Best AnswerI've set up "silent alarms" so it DOES buzz every hour! : )
The only issue is that the maximum number of alarms is one less than I need.....so I decided to not set an alarm for noon since I typically leave the office for lunch and get 250+ steps in without the alarm.
