HRV in your Fitbit. A wonderful tool

Heart rate variability (HRV) Is the mirror of your autonomic nervous system (ANS). A dysregulated ANS creates an imbalance between the stress hormones and the relaxing ones. A High HRV means a balance ANS, reduced risk of infections AND many chronic inflammatory diseases. Several factores can reduced the HRV like aging, alcohol, dehydration, poor sleep and vigorous exercise. Does anyone in the group check the HRV before exercise?

I used to check it before and after but no benefits coming out of that. Without proper algorithms in place which are able to interpret the stream of such data (not a single number but rather data aggregated over a longer period) within a specific context, the HRV has no value and even meaning.
