Half Marathon

Hi

I am a  regular runner doing 5k Park Runs and 10k what I would like to know would I be able to complete a half marathon within a couple of hours  this will be the first time I have attempted it and in one way I'm looking forward to it and then on the other hand I am scared in case I am  unable to finish

it.

What do you think?!!

I took the liberty to move your post from "Weight Management" to "Get Moving" Smiley LOL

If you regularly run 10k’s, you should have no problem completing a half-marathon.

Hi @hotshot: Since this is your first half, I would say do not have expectation on time. Give your best and try to cross the finish line. In this way, you would not be disappointed and also you would know what works or did not work for you. Either way, this first will be your PB. You can try to beat this in your subsequent halfs if you want to do more..

Good Luck.
